We are still looking for a volunteer to work in our training project Jyoti VTC in Pokhara.

A little personal draw of what this person would be looking like:

Somebody with a background of plumbing or electro mecanics already experienced in the working field or as a teacher in the practical education section.

With the minimum age of 25

experienced in his or her profession for at least 5 years

experienced in working in and around the house.

At least available for 5 months

Available as a volunteer, (when the period is longer than 5 months there will be facilities arranged).

Tasks:

Teaching the teachers new and modern techniques
Training the teachers in practical things involving how to teach, organisation and how to arrange things inside the classrooms.
Assisting during the practical part of the lessons.

We can offer a very cheap way of living inside the centre, a workplace with a beautiful surrounding and a unforgettable experience. There is a big need for such a person so the sooner you start, the better.
