On Friday the 14th of February it was also Valentines Day in Nepal. Time for a party some people thought, and why not something different???
The idea was to have a fundraiser party for Hamro Niwas and raise money by asking an entrance fee at the door besides that people could bring clothes, books, pens or other items that the children could use.
The Valentines party was held at the beautiful restaurant 1905 Kantipath, just outside of Thamel, Kathmandu. To make a long story short, I was the DJ that evening and a lot of people where dancing an enjoying themselves at the end of the evening we had raised 25.000 rupees (about 300 euro) which is a considerable amount of money here in Nepal.
