Armas Europe is one of the main sponsors from our organization; this company is presenting Australian Gold indoor Tanning products in Europe and Russia. Armas Europe has developed a strong social responsibility strategy for their business. Children Support

Kinderprojecten, wij van Armas geloven dat we de wereld kunnen verbeteren, al is het maar kind voor kind.

Wij zijn ervan overtuigd dat iedereen zijn verantwoordelijkheid moet nemen helemaal voor de kinderen in deze wereld. Daarom wordt een aanzienlijk bedrag van onze winst besteed aan kinderprojecten over de gehele wereld.

We from I-ngo Stichting Veldwerk the Netherlands, who are based and working in Nepal, are very happy to get Armas Europe in our middle as a main donor. We proudly like to present you there efforts; they are helping us, so we can reach our goals and helping many poor children and marginalized women in Nepal.

Computer education
Last August Armas donated funds to us, so we could buy new computers for our projects, look here.

But in the past already Armas donated the first computer classroom in our the first children home, look on this page.

Day-care centers in Nepal.
Also in the past, about 4 years before, Armas was sponsoring our first day care centre; children from very poor background who are not able to join any school. We crate the pré-school with the title, Non-Formal education. No diploma in the beginning, but at least the poor children can do their study; reading, writing and math's. Beside that, the Pré-school is providing some thee, food and medication if they are in need off. Besides that the children having a good time now on school, they also playing with there new class mates. So, there is a lot of benefit for the Kids.

In the mean time Armas is sponsoring a day care in Kathmandu-Balajuu, one in Chitwan, a day care in the Dhading district and recently; our new day care in Sankhu-Kathmandu. A total number of 170 poor children are the beneficiaries in the day care centers, all around Nepal. Have a look on the opening of our new day care in Sankhu.

Scholarships.
But the students of the day care center have to move forwards after this pre-school. When those kids are highly motivated to attend school, we try to find a sponsor for those kids for further support. Stichting Veldwerk is giving at the present scholarship to around 70 young students. Armas Europe took the duty to pay 15 of those children; here you can see an example of two of these lucky student boys.

April 2007, new children home.
We open a new children home in the remote areas from Nepal on the Tibetan border.
The house is called Mero Niwas, which means "my home".
15 orphan's from this remote area sheltered there and following daily school. A roof, a warm bed, food, safety and love is what we offer these children who are coming from very difficult circumstances. With the great help and effort from Armas Europe, Mero Niwas.

Woman training program.
Also in the place Barhabise near the border with Tibet, Armas is helping out the woman's from the Low cast community, the untouchables. But also widows are joining this project since they are facing hard times to be a widow in the Nepali society. De training is offering course sewing and stitching. About 90 women are the lucky ladies. A few of them opened already there own little shop, also with some seed money from Armas.

The Dalit welfare committee, who is running this program, was requesting us, to help them building there own community and training hall. Cost's are over 8000$ but we did it, guess who?

Community development program.
In Dhading, on other remote area of Nepal, we are running a kind of research program to improve the living conditions of the poor farmer population in the villages Nalang and Salang. The 1st year is just to be ended now, October 2007.

On top of this all,
Armas is sending money for he salary of 2 part time staff members. They are controlling our student programs and monitoring our outputs. So with this, we know that our students getting a good follow up, and the sponsor funds are used very well.

• In Guatemala hebben we geholpen met de realisatie van een weeshuis waar 300 kinderen zijn ondergebracht.
• Een waterput is geslagen in Burkina Faso te Afrika.
• We financieren de blindenschool in Lhasa, Tibet.
• Wij sponsoren Stichting Veldwerk in Nepal. Deze stichting runt 2 weeshuizen, 4 pre schools voor arme kinderen, 5 projecten voor vrouwen uit de laagste kaste's, en verbetering van levens omstandigheden in een tiental afgelegen bergdorpen.

Sluit je ogen en denk aan alle dingen in het leven die je maar voor lief neemt.

Schoon kraanwater. Een badkamer. Een dak boven je hoofd. Een school/ opleiding volgen. Naar de dokter kunnen als je niet lekker bent. Genoeg eten in voorraad.

Bedenk je nu eens wat voor leven je hebt zonder deze dingen....Onwerkelijk niet?

Toch honderden, duizenden kinderen over de hele wereld zijn niet anders gewend.

Wij moeten hier iets aan doen. Samen kunnen we voor verbetering zorgen.
